BIO
Efe Ajagba is a Nigerian professional boxer who took up the sport of boxing in 2011 after previously playing football for a club in Ughelli since 2005. He was coached by Anthony Konyegwachie.
With an orthodox fighting stance, Ajagba won a gold medal at the 2015 African Games held in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, beating Keddy Angnes of the Seychelles by a score of 3-0 in the final.
He currently resides and trains in Stafford, Texas.
On August 24, 2018, Ajaba achieved the fastest victory in boxing history in a match against Curtis Harper. The victory came to the form of disqualification, as Harper decided to walk out of the ring right after the whistle of the first round, claiming a protest move over a pay dispute.
Ajagba's last fight which he won by KO was on September 30 against Nick Jones at the Citizens Bank Arena, Ontario, California.
