Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris of California, made history by becoming the nation’s first female, Black, and Indian American vice president.
Biden surpassed the 270 electoral votes required to win the White House by flipping the battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Biden won over 4 million more votes than Trump as of Friday, in a record breaking election that collected more than 70 millions of votes for each leading candidate.
Biden’s win came after three full days of ballot counting, setting a record of most ballots ever casted in U.S presidential election history.
