The president of the United States has announced today that Osama Bin Laden is Dead, killed by the United States personnel action. The US has confirmed possession of Osama Bin Laden’s body. This is a major development on the military action from the United States, especially the fact that they used a drone attack on accomplishing this task.
Gaylord Kimbuta Kazadi, son of the governor of the province of Kinshasa, was assassinated Tuesday, April 26 in the town of Ham-sur-Heure, Belgium, where he lived.
According to the Belga news agency, two individuals, Gaylord Kimbuta Kazadi and Alexis Guida, came out of a car early Tuesday afternoon outside the residence of Mr. Gabriel Alleyn, on the Rue du Calvaire street, in Common Ham-sur-Heure.
VITAL KAMERHE (born on March 4, 1959) is a Congolese politician. Former Speaker of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and former Minister of Information, he is currently Honorary President of the National Assembly, founder and leader of the UNC party (Union pour la Nation Congolaise) and candidate to the 2011 presidential election in the DRC.

After earning his Bachelor degree in economics at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eric Mulumba Zozo excelled throughout his graduate studies at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) and at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) in Belgium, as well as at Tulane University and University of Dallas in the United States of America.
Sudan, Africa’s largest country, is in the final run-up to a critical referendum on independence for the oil-rich south in January 9, 2011 that seems certain to split the war-scarred state. For many, there is a fear that the split between the North and South could birth a new religion conflict between the two sides: the north, dominated by Arab Muslims, and the south, predominantly Christians.
It was with no doubt when the result was announced: Samuel Eto’o has been named African Footballer of the Year, making it a record four time at the annual CA awards ceremony held in Cairo last Monday. The Cameroonian scored a clinical, close-range second goal in a 3-0 triumph over TP Mazembe from Democratic Republic of Congo, the first African club to reach the final of the 10-year competition.
The Confederation of African football (CAF) at the weekend revealed the last three nominees for the 2010 Glo/CAF 201 Player of the Year Award.
Those nominated are three times winner, Cameroonian, Samuel Eto’o Fills, two times winner, Didier Drogba of Cote d’Ivoire and new entrant, Asamoah Gyang of Ghana. The African Footballer of the Year award, presented to the best African football (soccer) player each year, has been conferred by the Confederation of African Football(CAF) since 1992.
