FASHION SCOUT OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR AW19

Fashion Scout is delighted to announce that applications for the AW19 season at London Fashion Week in February 2019 open today, Monday 24th September 2018. Designers are able to apply for multiple showcase options including; Catwalk, Presentations, and Installations, as well as the, covet Fashion Scout Awards; Merit and Ones To Watch.

Fashion Scout is the International Showcase for Fashion Pioneers and the UK’s largest independent showcase for established and emerging design talent during London Fashion Week. Headed up by Founder and Creative Director, Martyn Roberts, Fashion Scout is renowned for championing, nurturing and showcasing innovative and creative design talent from around the world.

Fashion Scout is responsible for the launch of a whole generation of  talented designers including Peter Pilotto, David Koma, William Tempest, Eudon Choi, Iris Van Herpen, Felder Felder, Fyodor Golan, Craig Lawrence and Agi & Sam; and more recently Phoebe English, Xiao Li, Gyo Yuni Kimchoe and Roberts|Wood.

Alongside the brightest British design talent, Fashion Scout provides an unrivaled platform for industry selected international designers and collective showcases including those from China, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.


Created in 2009, the coveted Merit Award is a new talent initiative worth £20,000 across three seasons and has been created to support and develop new designer businesses on a global level. The winner receives a fully sponsored showcase during London Fashion Week. Winners follow in the successful footsteps of past winners including; David Koma, Eudon Choi, Roberts|Wood and SS19 winner i-am-chen. The Merit Award is a highlight event and acts as a key draw for UK and international press and buyers each season has been created to support and develop new designer businesses on a global level.

Four Ones To Watch winners receive the opportunity to showcase on the catwalk, providing a unique platform for the brightest new designers to present their vision, with many going on to become established labels in the
international fashion industry. Created in 2014, this collaborative show is now in its 12th Season and continues to be one of the most anticipated shows during LFW. It is instrumental in raising the profile of emerging design on an international scale.

Winners of the Fashion Scout awards are selected from hundreds of applicants by a judging panel consisting of industry experts including Martyn Roberts - Fashion Scout’s Founder alongside key buyers and Fashion Editors.
