MARYLAND: AFRICAN DIASPORA MARKET PLACE 2015 IS COMING UP

The great State of Maryland will be hosting the African Diaspora Market 2015. The City of Silver Spring is now preparing for this great showcase coming up this Summer.  Details can be found on the Market Place website.

"The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Western Union have launched the third round of the African Diaspora Marketplace business plan competition (ADM III). Successful ADM III applicants will receive a matching grant of up to $50,000 and will have access to technical assistance and other support services.  

The ADM III website (www.diasporamarketplace.org) is now live and entrepreneurs are urged to go online and apply for this grant opportunity (https://app2.pitchburner.com/s1/site//adm3).Please Note: In order to accommodate the anticipated volume of applications, we have extended the application deadline for the concept proposals to March 7, 2015" (African Diaspora Market Place).

This project was presented to the Governor's Commission on African Affairs for the State of Maryland and has received wide support and endorsement by all Commissioners who are also determined to ensure the word goes out to the community to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
