Short Bio
Constance Rahlane, 25, is the mother of a 6-year-old son, Knowledge. She hopes one day to write a novel about her neighborhood, Cottondale, but for now enjoys writing about culture in the Amazwi Villager, a non-profit community newspaper in Acornhoek, South Africa.
Constance graduated from the Amazwi School of Media Arts (2007) with a certificate in Narrative Journalism & Fieldwork Studies and completed a year-long internship with the Amazwi Villager (2008) where her assigned beats included Culture and Health. Her writing has also appeared in The Big Issue Cape Town, PNN, Heritage Magazine, and Adunagow.
